My grandfather had a factory in Omsk before the revolution. One day I would like to come and visit to see where my ancestors lived.

The facory made farm equipment at first then military vehicles during the war.

It was the Randrup factory.

I would like to know if the factory is still there.

My friend Ekaterina lives in your town and I finally got to see through the intenet how beautiful your town really is... I would like to visit Omsk one day... Thank your for the site and thank you for the pictures.

Nice site - pity I couldn t get teh webcams through my server... also, you mention Western Euro countries such as Australia. It s actually "Austria" you re after. As an Australian, I know it s a common mistake made everywhere - they have the snow-capped mountains, we have the Kangaroos :-) cheers, john
